General Practitioner (GP) vacancy – Port Augusta, South Australia

This practice located in the quiet gulf area of South Australia, is seeking an experienced General Practitioner/Family Physician. The location offers all the conveniences and facilities expected from a modern city. Ideally the practice would like to fill the vacancy with a female doctor to cater to a growing community demand for a female practitioner. However all genuinely suitable applications will be considered.

About the practice:

Open 6 days per week
Medicare bulk billing
Mixed and varied patient base
WorkCover claims, DVA and nursing home patients
Current AGPAL accreditation
Fully computerised practice
Complemented by nearby allied health services, pharmacy and pathology
Comprehensive administration and nursing support
Besides the advantages that this established practice affords, successful applicants are offered:

Attractive percentage based income or salaried remuneration
Hours – 8-5 Monday to Friday initially
Eligible applicants must:

Have substantial demonstrated and recent general practice experience
Be experienced in wide range of adult and paediatric patient presentations
clinical experience
Preferably hold general/specialist registration with Medical Board of Australia, or  be eligible  for specialist assessment with RACGP.
Have an interest in settling n the area with a commitment of at least 24 months
