We are an established vascular practice situated at the National Capital Private Hospital in Garran.
The person we seek must be reliable, punctual and highly organised who is able to work on their own and in a team environment. They will possess excellent customer service skills and a friendly, caring manner. The hours are Tuesday and Thursday but these hours may increase over time.
Duties include welcoming patients, answering phone calls, managing appointments, attending to patient enquiries, organising hospital admissions and surgery bookings, obtaining referrals and pathology results, billing, maintaining medical records, scanning paperwork and general office administration duties as directed.
Skills and Experience required
Medical Receptionist experience will be highly regarded
Experience with medical software will be highly regarded
Flexibility to cover for sick and annual leave as required (Monday to Thursday)
Strong written and verbal skills
High level of customer service
Flexibility and ability to learn new procedures
Sound IT skills
Excellent time management skills
The ability to work unsupervised and take initiative where required
A friendly, caring and compassionate manner
Neat and professional presentation

Six weeks (pro-rata) holidays a year (a bonus two weeks during the Christmas closure)
